Signed Confession

A signed confession: Father, Creator, and Judge of all things: I come boldly to stand before your throne, the mercy seat of judgment to obtain mercy in my time of need. This season of judgment and conviction has brought me to a place of confession. I am under arrest. The Holy Spirit has subpoenaed me to show up here today. Jesus as my advocate has counseled me and I am made aware of my rights. I wish to waive my rights of a trial as I am guilty on all accounts. I do not justify one misdeed or action. I have sinned against heaven and in the sight of You. I only plead the blood of Christ as my defense. My faith in your Son has brought me here today to stand before you. I could not do this alone. Even if I were not guilty of obvious sin, I understand that I could not ever fulfill the pure and holy command of a perfect life in my mortal body. So instead of attempting to make up for mistakes and justify sins, I plead guilty of them all and plead the blood over them. Jesus, your dear Son has cleansed me from all unrighteousness. I stand before You, only under Him. I apply His redeeming power by grace through faith. I rest in his finished work to satisfy your justice. I forever hide myself in Him as I may leave this throne room with fallible ways and displease your laws in my flesh. With that risk being so great, I confess that I MUST remain stayed in Christ. I will acknowledge your Holy Spirit and allow Him to rest, rule, and abide that I may grow in the grace that has been given. With Your laws written in my heart, I can draw closer to truth and to You, Father because of that TRUTH. I decree that Jesus is the Author and Finisher of my faith. He is my Redeemer and my Salvation. I come to you Father with great thanks for allowing your dear Son to pay my penalty. I am now so ordered to be sentenced to LIFE without parole. I shall live forever in peace and prosperity. I denounce the old man and put on my new garments. I am free from all guilt and shame, for I am washed cleaned through the blood of the Lamb. Jesus thank you for blotting out my transgressions. Thank you for taking the bruising for my iniquities. Thank you for healing not only my body, but my soul. Jesus thank you for standing by my side, otherwise, I would be dead. Holy Spirit, I acknowledge your presence and ask that You continue to lead and guide me in all truth. I want to be sensitive to Your still small voice. I do not want to offend You and I pray that as my Comforter, I in turn am pleasing through my obedience. All you require is that I listen and obey and give God thanks. I submit to your unparalleled wisdom and divine power. I am confident that as I incline my ears to hear, my life will be sweeter and I shall experience more victories. Thank you for prompting this confession. Thank you FATHER for providing such a bountiful gift as your own Son and your own Spirit. What SUPERnatural love you have exemplified to me and to the world by sacrificing so much. I only pray my faith lives up to this great gift and honors it with obedience, and perpetual praise and worship! In Jesus’ name I pray and confess all these things. ~ Amen
