Okay, I went to the car rental place this morning and ask about my camcorder left in a rental car Wednesday afternoon. The agent says, “no sign yet….well, let me call her again”….then while I’m processing my next rental, he walks back in with the camcorder I thought I’d never see again! (She had returned the car earlier and my camcorder was still in the car!)
We ask for mercy, prayer, and grace…we believe there are still good people out there and that God will be gracious…WELL, we are RIGHT for believing so! To God Be all the glory. This isn’t the first time God has allowed an item of mine to be returned (which is nothing less than a miracle). At the same time, I can have faith in my prayer for a return because I have also shown integrity when it faced in similar situations. It’s not tit for tat, but it DOES help when you’re praying for favor.
This testimony boosts some needed hope right now and my faith has increased not just in my connection with God, but in others in the world that still do good. It also makes me rise to the occasion even higher to return things ALWAYS. (folks stop calling it a blessing when ppl leave their valuables behind!) We are God’s angels, given the chance to show His kindness. What a gift from God and a needed stress relief with so many trials going on! Oh by the, I ended up getting the same car to rent again! I couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
p.s. I also have vowed to the Lord to utilize this camcorder more for His glory! My kids had put a self-made short video on it that I had never seen….too funny of course….But now, I can’t wait to MAKE time to make good memories and appreciate my children and this blessing.
